Warren Chair. Prior to his Atlanta Symphony Orchestra appointment, Harris served as Assistant Principal with the Baltimore Symphony from 1975 to 1979. Often heard as a soloist with the Orchestra, Mr. Harris appeared in works by Berlioz, Walton, Hindemith, Strauss, Mozart, Bartók, Telemann, and Bach. Harris is a graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Music, where his principal mentor was Abraham Skernick. He also studied with William Primrose and Joseph de Pasquale.
